Kashona Dotson is the AVP of Commercial Lending and nCino Administrator at First Federal Savings Bank. When the nCino Cloud Banking Platform was implemented at the bank, Kashona was tasked with building customizable reports and dashboards, which centralizes data from a financial institution’s core and other siloed systems into compelling visuals that provide a 360-degree view of the entire customer relationship in real time.
Today, Kashona has continued to build her skills and has configured several features of the platform, further improving the bank’s processes, increasing efficiency, saving money and enabling the institution to respond to customers faster. So far, First Federal has implemented nCino’s Commercial Banking Solution, Customer Engagement Solution and Treasury Management & Onboarding Solution.

When asked where she expects to see further efficiency gains from the nCino Platform in the future, Kashona said that the bank is configuring and integrating nCino’s Spreads feature, which will further help with system consolidation. She feels this feature will speed up the underwriting process by preventing analysts from having to spend extra time entering numbers so they can focus more time and attention on analyzing and coaching lenders through collecting financials.
