Mitch Lowe
CEO, MoviePass and Co-Founder, Netflix
Mitch Lowe is a top business speaker and entertainment industry speaker, co-founding executive of Netflix, and former President of Redbox. Mitch is the current CEO of MoviePass, a Movie Theatre subscription service headquartered in New York City. He recently helped grow the MoviePass subscriber base from 20,000 to millions of subscribers. Mitch was a founding Executive at Netflix, Inc., serving as Netflix's Entertainment Domain Expert and as Vice President of Business Development & Strategic Alliances from 1998 to 2003. In 2003 Mitch joined the investment group at McDonald's to co-lead as COO and then as President, at Redbox, a DVD vending machine rental service, that under his leadership grew to 35k kiosks across the US with revenue growing from less than $1m in 2003 to $1.5B in revenue in 2011 with over $325m in free cash flow. Lowe uses his experience from working with successful startups like Netflix, Redbox, and MoviePass to teach entrepreneurs how to simplify their business and to create a winning culture.
Frank Sorrentino, III
Chairman and CEO, ConnectOne Bank
In 2005, Frank Sorrentino, a New Jersey-based homebuilder struggling to find a bank that would accommodate his business ran with a bold idea –to build a full-service bank that put people at its core. Launching a better and profitable bank seemed crazy at the time, but then "impossible" has never been part of the bank's vernacular. In the next thirteen years, he grew the bank to over $5 billion assets with 21 locations across New Jersey and New York markets. Under Frank's leadership, the company rebranded, completed the first bank IPO since the great recession, and completed one of the largest mergers in the state of New Jersey. Frank serves as a voice of the industry, frequently commentating on Bloomberg, Fox Business news, The Wall Street Journal, American Banker, along with being a contributor for Forbes.com. In 2013, Frank was elected to the Board of Directors of the American Bankers Association. Previously, Frank Sorrentino was president of FSS Construction, Inc., a family-owned third generation construction business that specialized in custom-built luxury residential homes. Frank received his B.S. in Construction Engineering Technology from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1987.
Amala Duggirala
EVP and Enterprise CIO, Regions Bank
"Execution" as her brand, Amala Duggirala has led several large-scale and complex transformations at CenturyLink, BT, and ACI Worldwide. Amala's leadership and results come from her balanced approach in transforming strategy into results at large corporations. Amala serves as the Executive Vice President and Enterprise Chief Information Officer at Regions Bank. Amala and her teams oversee all aspects of application architecture, development, corporate computing, information security and technology governance in Regions. Her strategy and vision are the driving forces behind the digitalization of Regions Bank. Prior to Regions, Amala served as the Executive Vice President of Global Software Development at ACI Worldwide. She was accountable for the architecture, development, and delivery of nearly 30 products in the Consumer and Commercial Payments space. She led a global product development team that transformed the banking and payment experience for several top banks and hundreds of retailers and processors across the world. For her work, Payment Source recognized her as one of the top 25 influential women in payments in 2016. Amala holds an MBA from the University of Omaha, an Electronics and Communications degree from Osmania University and certification in Advanced Project Management from Stanford University.
