## 60-70% Reduction in relationship review time.

Same reviews, same rigor, hours back to your team every week.

Analyst In Action
On Monday morning, the Analyst Digital Partner has flagged three deteriorating relationships in your weekly Health Risk assessment. Your credit team requests a covenant test using natural language in the Banking Advisor interface. The team member quickly reviews, confirms and moves on.

**The Interfaces**

## Accessing Your Digital Partners

There are two ways to access all Digital Partners. First, use the Banking Advisor and Mortgage Advisor conversational interfaces. Request a relationship summary, a covenant test or a portfolio view using natural language. The Advisors route to the right Partner in the background and give you the data you need. Second, engage a specific Digital Partner directly from the nCino main user interface.

Both approaches engage the Digital Partners and the requested data is routed back through their respective interface. Digital Partners also monitors and proactively prompts for inputs. For
example, if a loan deteriorates or a risk crosses a threshold, they notify your team; the team responds, approves, adjusts and moves on. Through these interfaces, your team and Digital Partners work as a dual workforce.

## Your Questions, Answered

### How is a Digital Partner different from a generic AI chatbot or assistant?
A Digital Partner is not a chatbot. Chatbots respond to what you ask. Digital Partners do the work. That difference is structural, not cosmetic. A generic AI chatbot is a conversational layer over a language model. It can answer questions, summarize documents, and draft text, but it does not execute the workflow behind those answers.
When a credit analyst asks a chatbot about a relationship, the chatbot can describe the data; it can’t run a covenant test, pull the historical trend from your core, or draft a review that follows your institution’s review template. A Digital Partner runs on an orchestration layer built specifically for banking. Each partner is aligned to a banking role and has access to the workflows and data the role requires.

### How do I sign up for Digital Partners and what are the pre-requisites?
If you’re not currently an nCino customer, the prerequisite is the nCino platform. Digital Partners are an expression of the platform, not a standalone product, and are activated by your team via our solution and products.
For example, to enable the Analyst Digital Partner, your institution needs three things in place: Continuous Credit Monitoring enabled, the Banking Advisor interface, and AWS data consent.
For Mortgage, AUS Smart Tasks requires AUS to be enabled within the nCino platform. Once active, Smart Tasks automatically generate task lists derived from underwriting findings. Doc VOI is offered as a standalone product in partnership with Argyle, so it can be deployed independently without any additional platform prerequisites.

### Is our institution’s data used to train Digital Partners?
No. Your data stays in your environment, governed by the nCino platform’s security and permissions.
What makes nCino different is not the AI itself—every vendor has access to the same foundation models. What they do not have is 14 years of institutional banking context from over 1,500 financial institutions that tells the AI what actually matters in a loan, a covenant, or a risk decision.
This consolidated contextual data is what makes Digital Partners’ intelligence banking-specific rather than generic. Contributing institutions agree to anonymization; no PII or institutionally-identifying data is exposed across the community. Peer benchmarking, industry trend signals, and workflow pattern recognition come from this anonymized data pool, not from your customer or member records.

### How does nCino handle model risk, regulatory compliance and auditability?
Every Digital Partner action is logged and visible to compliance teams. Partners are built on structured and specific banking workflow rules, not black-box inference; underlying signals triggering alerts are visible to your teams. Digital Partners always prompt for action for low confidence or on policy gaps. Finally, we’re SOC 2 Type II certified for our security controls.

### Will Digital Partners replace our bankers or cause job loss?
No. Digital Partners handle execution \(data extraction, workflow automation, risk scoring, document processing, routine analysis, for example\) and your teams handle judgment \(relationship management, strategic decision-making, oversight, exceptions\). It is a foundational principle of our Dual Workforce philosophy.

### What outcomes should we actually expect to see and how soon?
The Analyst Digital Partner reduces relationship review time by 60-70% against manual review. That’s measured across deployments, reflecting the automation of data gathering, covenant testing and review drafting. We’ll publish specific outcome data for Executive, Service, Processor and Client Digital Partners soon.

### How are Digital Partners priced?
Digital Partners pricing is structured around nCino’s Intelligence Solution Framework with Intelligence Units \(IUs\). IU consumption scales proportionally with the volume of data analyzed and the sophistication of insights generated, consistent with standard cloud-based AI service models. Because different AI features consume different amounts of IUs, your allocation is sized based on how you plan to use them. A conversation with our team will give you a numbers-level answer tailored to your situation.
