Our Impact

Innovation for the future.

Environmental, Social and Governance

nCino is committed to building a sustainable company by creating value for our customers and stakeholders, promoting equality and equity, protecting our customers' data and privacy, and reducing our impact on the environment.

For our customers, nCino is not a one-time software purchase, but the beginning of an ongoing relationship. At nCino, we think of ourselves as partners in business transformation, and we're deeply proud of our reputation as a company that partners with our customers to understand their needs and work together to address them.

Our ESG work—on behalf of our customers and on behalf of nCino—is ongoing. Below are some of the actions we've already taken in our efforts to build a sustainable company and culture.

Our technical infrastructure is built on Salesforce, which has achieved net zero emissions and 100% renewable energy in its operations, and AWS, which is committed to 100% renewable energy by 2025.

In 2021, we piloted our first sustainable lending offering and started work on our longer-term development roadmap.

Our ESG efforts are led by an executive-level position, the Head of Sustainability and ESG, and reviewed every quarter by the Board of Directors.

Since our founding in 2011, we have built an award-winning culture that is centered around empowerment, authenticity and a set of six core values that place respect for people at the center of how we work.

We support our employees with a network of employee-led Affinity groups, matched with executive sponsors.

We encourage our employees to make positive change in their communities with philanthropic matching and paid volunteer days.

Together we can make a difference
We recognize that there are many important challenges to address throughout the financial software-as-a-service (SaaS) industry, such as accessible software for all, ethical business practices and taking a stance against modern slavery.
We believe that all of our customers, employees, and communities deserve to be treated with respect and fairness—it's in our core values to Make Someone's Day, to Do the Right Thing and to Respect Each Other. We commit to creating products that provide an inclusive experience for all users.
We commit to upholding the highest standards of business conduct with our customers, our stockholders and each other. Our Code of Business Conduct and Ethics ensures that we remain transparent about our fundamental principles and key policies and procedures that govern the way we conduct business.
Though our business and supply chains are low-risk for involvement in modern slavery, we ensure that members of our supply chain and contractors comply with our values and follow our zero-tolerance approach to slavery and human trafficking. We review and renew our policy annually to ensure our efforts continue to fight slavery and human trafficking.
We do our best to Respect Each Other at nCino, and we also expect our suppliers to commit to the same standard with their standards of business ethics. We seek diverse suppliers that treat their employees with respect and go beyond legal compliance standards to meet relevant standards and commit to continuous improvement.
We embrace and celebrate everything that makes our employees diverse, and we commit to foster a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion. Through our DE&I policy, we affirm that diversity and inclusion remain at the heart of our company culture.

DE&I

At nCino, our six core values—Have Fun, Make Someone's Day, Bring Your A-Game, Do the Right Thing, Respect Each Other, and Be a Winner—are the foundation of our culture. Culture is our differentiator; our success as the worldwide leader in cloud banking depends entirely on the people who work here. nCino culture has always been about placing people at the center of every process—empowering talented people to be their authentic selves and create something innovative together.

nCino is a global company whose employees represent a wide variety of identities across race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, ability and disability, class, immigration status and so much more. We know diverse identities, experiences and perspectives make for stronger teams, and that we can't realize our full strength until we work collectively to acknowledge, respect, empathize with and appreciate each other's differences.
