2020 Analytics Academy Events

COVID-19 has caused a very real strain on financial institutions across the country, and we are here to help you discover what those known (and unknown) effects are or very soon will be. Join us for nCino's Analytics Academy hosted virtually for all financial institutions, where we will teach you how to create and execute a data strategy to mitigate your risk and ensure you're staying profitable. Join your peers to learn best practices for lending analysis, plus learn how to adjust your allowance to the current financial crisis. We will study the intricacies of deposit trends and take a deep dive into leveraging customer analytics to make the biggest impact on your institution long term. Up to 4 CPE credits will be offered for each event.

COVID-19 Update: We've been closely monitoring the situation and following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as well as state and local governments who have advised to limit meetings and large group gatherings. For this reason, we may decide to postpone, cancel, or hold any of the below events digitally. If you are interested in an event, please register and we will send updated information as each event nears its potential meeting date to all registrants. Thank you for understanding, and please reach out to ryan.kerch@ncino.com with any questions or concerns.
Areas of Focus
Lending Analytics
Building out a data-driven lending organization that is prepared for any curveballs the economy or regulators may introduce requires a deliberate approach to data collection, aggregation, and reporting. This course is designed to teach how to build out a data and reporting strategy to properly understand your loan portfolio.
Fair Lending Analytics
All borrowers deserve to receive equal treatment when applying for any type of loan, and determining if protected classes like age, race/ethnicity and gender are being fairly treated throughout the application process is not only important, but required. This hands-on session shows you how to conduct a fair lending analysis, including pricing discrimination analysis, denial analysis, and steering ratio analysis.
Deposits & Customer Analytics
The need to understand the portion of your balance sheet that is the main funding source for your Lending and Investment initiatives is imperative to any organization's global success, and your data needs to support the educated decisions made to increase profitability and plan for future funding needs. This hands-on \ session will focus on how to effectively build out a deposit reporting system.
CECL (Current Expected Credit Loss)
Ready or not, CECL will be here before we know it. This session will cover everything you need to know about the new accounting standard.
